Delivery is done by other companies not associated with TurfDrop.com and we do everything possible to help make this a smooth process. Synthetic Turf Roll delivery is considered "curbside" by freight companies. Removal and placement of the turf roll on driveway, sidewalk, garage or yard is not provided. They are not required to help remove the turf rolls from the truck. However, they do typically make efforts to help. If you are unsure that a 53-foot freight truck can access your road, or your neighborhood, be prepared to meet the driver at a safe location to offload the freight.  The driver is not required to back-in or drive-up to your home, if they feel it is unsafe.  This is a large, long and heavy roll, so please be ready with any additional help or assistance you may need.

Deliveries will occur during the week typically between normal business hours. Weekend deliveries are not available. The estimated delivery time is dependent on the distance from the factory to the final destination. Weekends or holidays do not count towards transit days (business days). We will provide a estimated time of arrival along with the shipping Pro# number and carrier contact info. We recommended to contact the freight carrier ahead of the delivery for more detailed arrival info.   

 

RESIDENTIAL DELIVERY

An appointment will be scheduled 24-48 hours before delivery. TurfDrop.com will not be held responsible for any additional cost associated with rescheduled deliveries or missed attempts. This includes any scheduled install crews due to product delivery delays. We recommend not scheduling any installers until you have the turf in your possession.  

 

If you have any questions about delivery or extra shipping charges, please feel free to contact a our customer support team. We are always happy to assist with any questions or concerns you may have. If you think there is a problem or discrepancy with your turf roll, call us before unrolling the turf. In the rare case the turf would need to be returned, freight companies require the turf to rolled and packaged in a specific way. Rolling the turf for return can be very difficult to do without having the proper experience or machinery. Please contact us by email or by phone before cutting, installing, or unrolling the turf. If the material is cut, or altered before notifying us of damages or discrepancies, your claim, and any applicable refund will be void.

FREIGHT DAMAGE

Please be sure to notify the driver of any damage to the roll. Be sure to mark it down on the shipping receipt and take photos for documentation. This is necessary in order to assist in providing a freight claim on your behalf. Please call our customer service the moment you see any visible damage. Damages not documented within 30 days from the date of receipt will be void. 

Concealed damage is typically hidden arrival and can be interior damage of a shipment. Unfortunately, freight companies allow only a brief window of time to report this type of damage. Please make every effort to un-package the roll and check for damages to the interior as soon as possible if you suspect this.  If the center cardboard core is severely broken or damaged upon delivery, please make sure to note this with the driver on on their receipt, and take pictures for documentation.
